About
php-pdf
phppdf is a PHP 8.4 library for generating PDF documents. It is pure PHP and needs only the standard mbstring, openssl and zlib extensions, so there is no external binary to install.
It covers creating documents from scratch: pages in 19 standard sizes or custom ones, graphics, text, tables, images, vector SVG, barcodes and Markdown. It also handles right-to-left text, AES-256 password protection and PKCS#7 digital signatures.
Beyond creation, it can read existing PDFs, import a page as a template for letterheads or watermarks, edit metadata and pages, and fill AcroForm fields. Version 1.0 is stable and follows semantic versioning. Usage guides live in the project wiki on GitHub.
